Which EV towbars can we supply?
With our superb manufacturer contacts, we can supply and fit tow bars to most Electric Vehicles. We have access to over 800 tow bars for different electric vehicle makes and models.
Most of the aftermarket tow bars we fit are OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer.) So you will get the same tow bar as you would if having it fitted by the vehicle manufacturer.
If there’s a factory-fit tow bar option on the new vehicle, we can usually supply and fit one aftermarket. Usually anything from an Audi A3 through to a Volkswagen Toureg EV.
With vehicles such as the Telsa range, we can supply and fit exactly the same as you get from Tesla themselves. Oris or Westfalia detachable tow bar with either Tesla or approved aftermarket dedicated electrics.
Do the electric vehicle tow bars come with a guarantee?
Yes, all of our tow bar fittings come fully guaranteed. We offer a no-nonsense two-year guarantee on fitting issues, on top of the warranties given by the parts suppliers.
Will fitting a tow bar affect my vehicle warranty?
The parts we use are all approved parts that are designed specifically for your vehicle and should not affect your vehicle warranty.
Will the electric Vehicle tow bar electrics have power for my caravan fridge and battery charge?
Auxiliary power is provided on some EV models, you would need to contact us to check if your particular vehicle towing electrics includes the caravan power feeds.
If I have a tow bar fitted to my EV, will it affect the range?
Carrying extra weight, or towing a trailer or caravan will affect the range to some extent. Just as a petrol or diesel-engined car will have a decreased range when towing.
