After much hard work from our suppliers, we can now offer towbar fitting to motorhomes that require chassis extensions!
This vastly increases the number of motorhome models we can fit with a towbar.
Chassis extensions are required for motorhomes that only have floor supports at the rear underside. The floor supports are designed to support the floor area and are not strong enough to allow for a tow bar to be fitted to them. The chassis extensions connect to the vehicle chassis and extend it to the back of the vehicle, a tow bar can then be fitted to allow the use of a tow car, trailer or cycle carrier.
We are able to offer motorhome tow bar fitting, including the fitting of chassis extensions, at your home, workplace, storage facility or motorhome dealership. (Providing there is enough room for our fitters to work safely.)
Fitting time, including fitting extensions and electrics, is usually around 3 to 4 hours.
All of the tow bars and chassis extensions fitted by ourselves are type-approved and come with a fitting certificate and guarantee. We only fit approved dedicated wiring that complies with the manufacturer’s warranty requirements.
