Standard Safe T Bar

The standard straight Safe T bar is a great option for those looking to protect the rear of their van and to give them anti-slip access in and out of the van. 

Constructed using high tensile cold-formed alloy steel, the straight Safe T bar protects the rear of your vehicle from everyday knocks and forklift loading, whilst providing a safe, non-slip step that helps protect workers while loading and unloading the van. The reflective red strip provides improved visibility of the van during the day and at night.

Rear parking sensors can be relocated to the Safe T beam enabling the sensors to still work after the bar is installed. 

Step Safe T Bar

The recessed step version offers the same reliable protection as the standard version but has a lowered step, enabling easier access for loading and unloading of the van.  This version of the Safe T step is ideal for delivery drivers or those needing to have regular access the rear of the van during their day.

Parking sensor relocation is also available with this version.

Safe T Bar Tow Version. 

If you need to tow but still require the protection that a Safe T bar offers then look no further than the towing version. 

Type-approved and with a towing weight limit of 3000kg the towing version can be fitted with either standard, ALKO, or ball and pin tow balls.  We also offer the fiting of vehicle specific approved wiring, including updating the vehicle software where needed. 

All Hope towing products are Type-Approved to EC 94/20 Reg 58 and undergo a 2 million cycle fatigue test and VCA Approved. We offer a wide range of commercial vehicle Tow bars compatible with most leading manufacturers light commercial vehicles. All HOPE products designed for towing are, manufactured in house, Type approved to EC94/20 or Regulation 55, and undergo a 2 million cycle fatigue test. VCA Approved. The electrics we fit alongside the towing Safe T Step are vehicle specific approved and available in7 pin or 13 pin  versions.  

If you’re in the market for a van step then we highly reccommend the Safe T Step.  They are higher priced than other steps, hovever, the build quality and strength are certainly worth the extra investment.
